  1. Jim Demetro – Visit the ‘Burro in the Making’

The upstairs gallery at Oscars restaurant houses the latest Jim Demetro masterpiece in the making and is open to the public for all to see. It is worth a visit because maybe next time you are in Vallarta the finished sculpture will be proudly positioned on the Malecon.
With so much change in the past few decades it is easy to forget what a huge part the burro played in the Vallarta we see today – so the extraordinary talents of Jim Demetro bring some us memories and others of us realization of how the tremendous growth of Vallarta came about.Jim Demetro in Vallarta

Registering your US/Canadian vehicle in Mexico

Foreign Vehicle Registration in Mexico

Seems everyone is in the same boat when trying to register their US/Canadian cars in Mexico = huge expense or a trip back over the border.

Is it the same rule for every Mexican state? Does vehicle registration stay with the owner or the plates?

Surely there must be an easier way to do this?  Has anyone had their car confiscated yet because they are a permanent resident with foreign plates?

Does anyone out there have the answer?
