My morning walks in Puerto Vallarta Mexico
How lucky am I every morning I get to walk out my door and in less than 2 minutes I am on the Malecon, I walk in solitude, it is meditative, rich in the Mexican culture, and alive with the environment of Puerto Vallarta.
I look forward to my espresso americano at Starbucks at the end of my walk.
Last night we had a torrential rain, which happens almost every night this time of year, and we are thankful for these rains as it lowers the humidity, but it also fills the Quale Rio with the silt off the mountains, making the river brown and the first few feet of the ocean brown, but we who live here know it is only silt.
The Malecon ends and then I am on the street which is alive with Mexican culture, I greet Candio, owner of Lolitas restaurant, buenos dias Candio, he always has a huge smile as he says buenos dias Senora.
I continue walking as far as the Buenaventura Hotel and Spa, turn around and walk back onto the Malecon and to Starbucks
My Starbucks espresso Americano is my reward for my 40 minute walk, no one makes it better than my team here in the Town Square
